The Strategic Plan 2020 - 2025 sets out a clear statement of intent that builds on the University of Sunderland's strengths – and is ambitious and relevant for a 21st Century global University.
Students are placed at the heart of everything the University does and its widening participation record is testimony to its long-running work to raise aspirations and promote social inclusion within the North East region. Student fees make up 86% of the University’s total income and cover the cost of student tuition and the University’s operating costs.
