The Faculty takes the welfare of its students very seriously and prides itself on its friendly staff who are there to support you.
We understand that you may encounter problems (personal, academic or both) at some point during your time at university but are confident, should this happen, we have the support available to help you through.
All we ask is for you to speak to someone as soon as a problem arises so it does not escalate to a point where it affects your studies or university experience.
Our comprehensive support packages are listed below:
Support is available within your department from your Personal Tutor, Course Leader or Course Lecturers.

Personal Tutors will advise or refer you to other support available depending upon issues raised. Your lecturers can be contacted via email 24/7 or during dedicated meeting sessions and will solve any issue as fast as possible. Course Leaders are always on hand to guide you through your studies.
In addition to the support available within your own department the Faculty has a Student Liaison Officer who can give advice and support to students who would prefer to speak to someone other than an academic member of staff connected to their course of study.
