Sunderland offers a range of short courses for people who don't have the time or need for a full undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses are training programmes for working people.
Many of the CPD courses are part-time or have contact hours during evenings and weekends, so they can fit around work commitments.
Some of our courses are work-based learning. Work-based learning means that you enrol with the University and have access to the University's academic and support services, but you study in your own workplace.
Assignments and projects are developed jointly by the University and your employer, so you can make an immediate impact in your work while you gain an internationally-recognised qualification.
