Discounted public transport for staff
The University of Sunderland is dedicated to encouraging staff to commute to work by public transport.
A number of public transport annual passes are available to staff via a monthly salary deduction scheme.
If you pay for your public transport pass via the salary deduction scheme a proportion of your net pay (after tax and national insurance deductions) is deducted for an agreed period, usually 12 months.
