Bus

BuzzFare tickets are valid for unlimited travel on all Go North East buses, except night buses.

Arriva Annual Saver tickets are valid for unlimited travel on all Arriva buses except the X61 and Moorbus services.

Stagecoach Corporate Megarider and Corporate Megarider+ tickets are valid for unlimited travel on all Stagecoach buses. A standard Corporate Megarider provides travel within one zone only where as a Corporate Megarider+ enables travel across extended boundaries.

Campus buses

Campus Circular service

The University operates a free bus for staff and students moving between the two campuses.

The Campus Circular operates during term time, from 8am until 10:50pm.

Sunderland Connect service

The Sunderland Connect service is a public service which travels between the two University campuses.

Buses are 49-person capacity, with low emission hybrid engines.

Staff and students of the University of Sunderland can travel for free if they show their university ID card. Regular fares are £1.20 for a single ticket, and £2 for an all-day return.

Sunderland Connect is operated by Go North East on behalf of the University of Sunderland, Nexus and Sunderland City Council.
