Faculties

The University is made up of four academic departments known as Faculties.

Our Faculties are responsible for teaching and learning, academic development and research, and working with partners in business and industry.

Faculty of Applied Sciences
Including Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Computing and Engineering, Drug and Alcohol Studies, Environment, Health and the Caring Professions, Pharmacy, Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacology, Psychology, Sport and Exercise Sciences.

Faculty of Arts, Design and Media
Including Fine Art, Glass and Ceramics, Photography, Performing Arts, Design, PR, Film Studies, Media and Journalism.

Faculty of Business and Law
Including Business and Management, Law and Tourism and Events Management.

Faculty of Education and Society
Including Education, Combined Subjects, Languages, Social Sciences, English, History, Politics, Religious Studies and The Centre for Lifelong Learning (short courses).
