Media Research Seminars

Organised by the Centre of Research for Media and Cultural Studies, these seminars provide opportunities for students, University staff and members of the public to benefit from talks such as 'Women and Pornography', a seminar examining women's production and consumption of porn in film and on the net.

Recent seminars included: Journalists on Climate Change, WIKI: Ali's Adventures in a Digital Wonderland, 'Sexing up' Public and Personal Memory in  research, Playing by the Rules: Ethical Sexual Behaviour for Professional Athletes, Reality TV: The Politics of an Extended Social/Public Realm, Divergent Femininities in Post-War British Cinema and Representations of Families, Fertility and Demography.
