The Writing 2013 International Calligraphy Symposium is from 13-18 July 2013 and will be held in Durham, marking the visit of the Lindisfarne Gospels to the city.
The format will follow that of a calligraphy retreat, meaning we will have plenty of space and time for refreshment and recreation. Classes will be mornings only and in the afternoon participants can continue to work on their own in the calligraphy studio or join one of the optional trips that are planned to Sunderland and to Lindisfarne. An evening calligraphy event is planned in the Cathedral during your stay.

A £100 non-refundable deposit is payable before the 1 May 2013 to confirm your place on the workshop, however it will only be on payment of the full balance that rooms will be confirmed and it will be on a first come first served basis.
Further information and the conference pack will be forwarded once the final payment has been received.
