Student Voice/Student Feedback
It is important to the Faculty that as many of our students as possible give us feedback to help us see in which areas we are doing well, and in which we need to improve. To help facilitate the collection of student feedback, and to support the University's ongoing feedback system called 'Student Voice', the Faculty provide various ways for you to give feedback - one such way is through the course representation system, which includes Staff-Student Liaison Committees (SSLCs), Module and Programme Boards of Study and Student Representatives. Student Representation
Every course elects at least one Student Representative at the beginning of the academic year. Student Representatives are the 'voice' of students on your course and put forward your views and feedback at the following Faculty meetings held each term:
- Student/Staff Liaison Committees (SSLCs),
- Module Board of Studies
- Programme Board of Studies
- verbally by your Student Representative
- in the minutes and action lists available from the SSLC folder in the Faculty of Applied Sciences -Student Zone on SunSpace (WebCT)
- in actions lists available from the SSLC section of this webpage
- through the University's 'You said it, we did it' webpage
- through the Faculty's 'You said it, we did it' section of this webpage
- through 'You said it, we did it' posters on noticeboards and plasmas screens throughout the faculty
Online Feedback
We appreciate it may not b always possible to contact your Student Representative so we have also provided an electronic feedback form for you to use - your feedback is very important to us.
