The Business Clinic at Sunderland Business School provides a single hub which not only guarantees to source relevant experts to solve employer problems but also arranges work experience for business school students and puts in place longer term projects with local businesses.

Employers can come in every Thursday morning to talk over any business issue. Derek and colleagues will investigate the possibility of any potential funding and a key academic with relevant expertise will offer initial advice.
The options then are for each business to consider consultancy, research or to involve Business School students to focus on a specific business issue as an accredited assignment.
The Business Clinic meets for a networking breakfast every week at the Reg Vardy Centre, Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter's, University of Sunderland, followed by employer appointments.
