Lecturer in Law
LL.B (Hons)
After graduating from the University of Sunderland with first class honours in 2006, Chris spent three years working in the legal industry as a senior legal assistant for one of the UK’s leading ATE legal insurance companies and as a fee-earner in one of Newcastle’s largest solicitor firms. In 2009 he joined Newcastle College as a Lecturer in Law and Criminology before joining the University of Sunderland in 2010 as a Lecturer in Law. Chris’ experience in legal practice infuses his teaching and learning methodology, with a heavy emphasis on practical legal skills in three optional LL.B Modules for which he is the module leader (Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation and Industrial Disease and Personal Injury Law). He is also the module leader in the foundation, level one subject the Law of Contract.
