Hamid is an accredited MPhil/PhD and professional doctorate supervisor. Since 1996, Hamid has supervised (director of studies) to successful completion 5 M.Phil, and 4 PhD candidates in the fields of applied economics, Innovation and research and development activities, and finance at the Sunderland Business School. Currently supervising two Ph.d (2nd supervisor) and one professional doctorate (principle supervisor) research candidates. Hamid has published many articles in International Journals and co-authored several text books in the area of international trade, business strategy, economic analysis and modelling, and applied econometrics. Dr Seddighi has been actively engaged in research and his papers were submitted to the RAE 2001 and 2008.
