Ian arrived at Sunderland Business School in 2005 with over 25 years of commercial experience in financial services. His background as relationship manager to a portfolio of over 100 SME's at Barclays PLC has brought a wealth of real-world experience to the faculty. In 2009, Ian became principal lecturer for employability, and has developed of a range of employability modulesthroughout the student learning journey at all levels across the business & management suite of programmes. Ian has vast expertise in the following areas; strategic finance, financial management, business strategy, corporate responsibility, personal development planning, business and career coaching, sales & sales management, work based learning.
