Paul-Alan is the current BA (Hons) Business and HRM programme leader. I am also currently working towards a doctorate through professional practice where my research is based on the exploring of the influence of spirituality on the pedagogical epistemologies for aspiring HR professionals. His interests are in exploring different and innovative pedagogical practices to engage students and improve the student learning experience. This includes the fusion of artisticimagination using poetics to develop and create critical reflexivity.
Paul-Alan is the member of the employability team and has developed the reflective practice and reflexivity agenda within undergraduate programmes to develop capable and creative graduates. He has also delivered teaching and learning research sessions on the use of poetics; the use of e-reflective practices; the development of artefacts as an assessment method; the use of lyrics as a pathway to critical reflexivity.
