An academic career spanning almost thirty years consisting of practical teaching experience in both Further and Higher Education and has taught across a wide range of student ages and abilities. Achieved national recognition and success with the National Association of Licensed Paralegals legal programmes – pioneering the Higher Diploma in Paralegal Studies offered by NALP in the University sector. National Advisor on HE Based Paralegal Programmes for NALP and Paralegal Programme Co-ordinator for the University of Sunderland. He is also a published academic and legal conference speaker. In addition, he brings a practitioner’s knowledge to the classroom and lecture theatre serving on the Bench as a Senior Magistrate for over twenty years as a Court Chairman presiding over both Adult and Youth Criminal Courts and also sitting as a Judge of the Crown Court.
