Undergraduate Study

Undergraduate first degree level courses include foundation, BA and BSc courses.  Many of these include a one-year work placement.

Postgraduate Study

Postgraduate courses include postgraduate diploma, postgraduate certificates, masters degrees (MA, MSc, MBA) and doctorates.

Part-time Study

Many of our Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses can be studied part-time.

Flexible and Work-Based Learning

Work-based Learning is a new and flexible approach to recognising and developing knowledge in the workplace.

Distance Learning

We offer a range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, full and part-time which can be studied as distance learning without the need to attend university.

Study at a Partner College

We offer a range of courses at undergraduate level which are offered at partner colleges in the region as well as throughout the UK.

Foundation Degrees

These include FdA, FdSc and FdEng.

Foundation Degrees may be studied full or part-time depending on the course and where you are studying.  They are offered here at University and at partner colleges.

Combined Studies

We offer around 30 subjects which can be combined as either major-minor (two subjects with an emphasis on one of them), or dual (two subjects combined on an equal basis).

Short Courses

Our Centre for Lifelong Learning offers a vast range of short courses which are open to all and meet the widest of interests.
