Biography

Peter began teaching in 1983 working in secondary music and French, subjects which he taught throughout his teaching career.  He lead a successful department in a challenging school with included working with feeder primary schools and Universities prior to appointment at the University of Sunderland.

He was appointed in 1999 to specialise in music education, but has taken on a range of roles whilst including: Manager of the GTP programme, specialist in French on primary programmes, coordinator of overseas teacher training courses, leader of two MA EDucation routes, aspects of financial management for the Faculty and International Development Manager.
