Study at a Partner College
The University works in partnership with a number of local college partners in the North-East region and further afield which means that you can opt to study closer to home at your local Further Education College.
You can choose from a wide range of Foundation Degrees, relatively new qualifications that combine academic study with a strong vocational focus.
Foundation Degrees are a qualification in their own right, however, after completing a Foundation Degree you can come to the University and study for a full Honours Degree (this usually takes about a year, longer if you want to study part-time).
You may not have previously considered a University education but our strong partnerships with the colleges opens up new pathways and opportunities for everyone. As a student at a partner college you will have access to the university facilities and support services as well as those at the college.
