Academic Support and Guidance for CSP Students

Student support is of great importance in the University and within the Combined Subjects Programme in particular. Every week day face to face sessions are available with your personal tutor or one of the other CSP academics. The CSP core module also has several taught sessions where you will have the opportunity to speak with other CSP students and your personal tutor. In addition, you can also post questions in the CSP Communication Zone.

All support sessions are held in Forster Building, City Campus.

For any other queries during the first two weeks of the semester/block, a CSP/CAS academic team member will respond to a student query whether by phone, Sunspace or email within 2 working days and will aim to resolve the query within 5 working days of the initial contact.

Outside of the first two weeks of the semester/block a CSP/CAS academic team member will respond to a student query whether by phone, Sunspace or email within five working days and will aim to resolve the query within 10 working days of the semester.

On rare occasions due to unforeseen circumstances, individual sessions may have to be cancelled or shortened.  If you are making a special journey to attend, it would be prudent to check by ringing (0191) 515 3192 (Forster Building Reception).
