Prizes, Scholarships and Opportunities

The History Assessment Boards may award the following annual prizes:

To be awarded to the student achieving the best overall performance when graduating with BA (Hons) History.

To be awarded to the best dissertation produced by a BA (Hons) History student.  Where the award of this prize would be to the same recipient as the Bede Prize, the prize will be awarded to the next best dissertation performance.

To be awarded to the best history dissertation produced by a BA Joint Honours student.

To be awarded to the best L2 performance in the Culture Academic Area.  Open to students studying History, American Studies, Politics, Tourism and English programmes.

To be awarded to the best L3 performance in the Culture Academic Area.  Open to students studying History, American Studies, Politics, Tourism and English programmes.
