The Faculty offers a suite of Masters programmes in Education that are both exciting and innovative. Designed to meet the needs of teachers and others involved in the field of education, the programme is both flexible in both mode of delivery and structure. There are a number of 'open modules' whereby a student can negotiate the specific content with a tutor, to reflect their own developmental work. Assessment methods have been designed to match individual modules and include the use of video analysis, presentations and portfolios in addition to the more traditional written assignment. Students have the opportunity, not only to follow a named route but also to choose from a wide range of modules to 'tailor make' a learning package that suits their individual contexts.

We welcome international students from more than 100 countries to University of Sunderland and greatly value the cultural diversity that they bring. We want to attract the brightest and the best students to join us at the University. Our two campuses - one in the city and one on the coast, are perfectly placed to ensure a life-changing student experience.

Funding

Funding may be available in the form of a subsidy from the Teacher Development Agency (TDA) for those eligible students who hold QTS. For more information contact the Faculty on 0191 515 2395
