BSc Games Software Development
BSc Ethical Hacking and Security System Design
BSc Information and Communications Technologies (ICT)
The scholarship is for the first year only and paid to students who have fully enrolled at the University and completed most of their first term. It will be paid in 2 instalments of £1,000 one in December 2010 and one in March 2011. It is not means-tested and you don't have to pay it back. This scholarship will be paid in addition to any other University of Sunderland bursary or scholarship a student is entitled to.You do not need to make a separate application, you will automatically be considered once you make the University of Sunderland your first choice on UCAS.
For entry in academic year 2009-10 the University rewarded 16 high flying applicants to computing and related subjects with a Sunderland Software City Scholarship. Sunderland Software City is a project designed to make Sunderland a centre of excellence in software and computing and the scholarships are designed to attract and keep talented people in Sunderland to make this happen.
