In November ‘Kith and Kin: New Glass and Ceramics’ opened at the National Glass Centre at the University of Sunderland (NGC) with a diverse and often surprising take on contemporary glass and ceramics. The exhibition brings two ‘families’: Glass and Ceramics, together in one exhibition. Both share traditions, affinities and histories, and have been taught together at the University of Sunderland for many years.
