Lord David Puttnam CBE talked about 'Storytelling' and shared insights into the inspiration for his current film Arctic 30, based on the true story 'Don't Trust, Don't Fear, Don't Beg', written by Ben Stewart, Greenpeace.

He is one of the most influential figures in British film and is the only British filmmaker to ever have run a Hollywood studio, Columbia Pictures. Works, such as Chariots of Fire, have won numerous awards, including the Oscar for best picture in 1981.

Lord David Puttnam served as the University's first Chancellor between 1997-2007.
