Research Support

Graduate Research Support provides:

• support and guidance for all members of academic staff who wish to apply for funding for research from any external source
• funding information to researchers
• advice on preparation and submission procedures of proposals and approve applications.

The Projects Finance Team oversees and reviews the financial administration of current projects and can be contacted at projects.finance@sunderland.ac.uk.

• Research Professional which offers reliable source of funding opportunities and news on research policy and politics
• Selected funders page including Research Councils, EU, charities and other UK funder.
• Electronic portals of funders that require electronic grant application submission.
• Latest funding opportunities from individual sources including Research Professional, the EU, NHS, R&D Forum and others can be found by visiting the Graduate Research Announcements Community page within my.sunderland (login required).
