Your relationship with the University does not end at graduation - even as a former student you remain a valued member of the University community.

The Alumni Association is committed to all its graduates, friends and supporters in maintaining a connection to the Institution. Your relationship with the University does not end when your course does - as former students you remain valued members of the University community for life.

All graduates are entitled to join the University's Alumni Community www.wearunited.org which offers a wide range of services and benefits to all its members:

My Profile - Create and update your own profile page and upload profile images. Users control their own data to display on their profile. 

Benefits and Discounts - On behalf of our alumni we have negotiated a range of benefits and discounts with a number of regional and national companies. These are negotiated rates exclusive to University of Sunderland alumni.

E-news - regular e-news communications letting you know what's going on here at the University including events, alumni news, special offers and what's happening around campus.

Events - regular events are planned throughout the year for our alumni supporters and friends. These can be specific to students groups, reunions, and networking events. Log on and have a look at the alumni events calendar now!

E-mail for Life - email address from our domain which automatically forwards mail to your preferred email address so you can always stay in touch. Just keep your contact email updated and stay in touch for life!

Blogs and Discussion Boards - add your views and opinions on topical debates and discussions or just blog away and let others know what you're up to!

My Groups and Societies - want to have your own mini-site to engage with former groups/societies or just any alumni who may live in your geographical area? `My Groups and Societies' offers targeted content for your specific group and allows you to manage content and communications with your members. Interested? Email askalex@wearunited.org

Document Exchange - access to key documents associated with the Alumni Association. Upload and downloadable area for documents which you think will be useful to share with your former graduates. 

Alumni Search - Look up former classmates and start networking. (Members must be registered through wearunited.org to gain access to this service.)

Find-A-Friend - Lost touch with a former friend?  The Alumni Association will try to put you back in touch. If the person you are looking for is not registered on the site we will advertise your search on our `Looking for...' board. 

Bridge - our annual alumni magazine for friends and alumni of the University is available to view online.

In addition to this the Alumni Association offers a number of in-house services for your benefit:

·         Careers advice

·         Replacement degree and transcript service

·         Associated membership to UoS Students' Union

·         Access to dedicated alumni groups - national and international.
