Pre-bookable crèche

‌Please be advised that the Graduation Ceremonies are not suitable for children under the age of five. However, crèche facilities are available on the day, at the Stadium of Light.

Childcare is only available for the duration of the ceremony itself, and children must be collected before going for post-ceremony refreshments. 

The crèche is staffed by qualified Nursery staff who are employed by the University of Sunderland.

Crèche opening times

Morning ceremony - 8.30am

Afternoon ceremony - 1.30pm

Booking the crèche

There is a strict limit on the number of places available at the crèche due to adult/child ratio requirements, so all places should be pre-booked via the online shop.  No children will be admitted on the day without having pre-booked a place.

There is a cost of £10 per child for the creche, light refreshments are included in the price. Booking is subject to availability and confirmation of your place in the creche will follow once your application is received.
