Frequently Asked Questions
Click on the links below to see the answers to frequently asked questions about the Off-Campus Bursary Scheme.
1. What happens if I complete a two-year Foundation course, then go on to top up my qualification at Sunderland?
A Foundation Degree is a qualification in its own right. Any scholarship awarded whilst taking this qualification has only been awarded for the duration of that particular programme.
A top-up qualification is a different qualification, and so you will not be eligible for the scholarship in your third year of study.
2. Do I need to tell the Student Loans Company (SLC) if I receive a fee reduction?
No. The University will inform the SLC directly to ensure that the full- or part-fee loan is not paid.
