A worthwhile investment
A degree is vital to your career prospects, and many employers will only consider applicants with a graduate qualification.
University remains an excellent investment. According to the Office for National Statistics, graduates earn on average £12,000 a year more than people who just have A Levels or equivalent qualifications.
Tuition fees for part-time students are £4,500 per 120 Credits.
The fees are the same regardless of whether you are studying on-campus or at an off-campus partner college.
Different fees apply if you are applying to a Study Centre, or if you are currently studying at a partner college and you are applying for a top-up course at Sunderland. If this is the case, please contact us for more information.
International fees apply to any students who live outside of the European Union (EU).
The tuition fees for full-time International students can be found on each course profile.
Tuition fees for international students are higher because the UK Government subsidises the cost of university tuition for UK / EU students.
All international undergraduate students receive a £1,500 scholarship, and all postgraduate international students receive a £1,000 scholarship. The scholarship is applied automatically - you don't have to apply for it. The scholarship is in the form of a fee waiver, which means that your tuition fee is reduced by £1,500 or £1,000.
