We focus on modern and contemporary practice. Our courses will extend your skills and theoretical understanding of Dance, Drama and Music, and enable you to explore established and new ideas about performance.

Subject skills are developed through a range of performing opportunities and community and education projects. You will also develop skills in directing, devising, choreographing and composing your own work.
We have a recently refurbished large galleried dance studio with adjacent rehearsal rooms, a drama studio, three dedicated music teaching rooms, a recording studio, music technology studios, practice rooms and video edit / viewing facilities.
We have strategic partnerships with a number of partner colleges and The Sage Gateshead to deliver BA (Hons) Community Music and BMus (Hons) Jazz, Commercial and Popular Music.
We also have a unique relationship with The Customs House, and students have the opportunity to perform in this professional environment.
