Mentoring

The University of Sunderland Mentoring Project places current university students (Student Mentors) in six local schools to support pupils in Years 9-11.

Mentors work with pupils weekly in one to one sessions during the academic year.

Throughout these sessions pupils develop the skills they need to achieve more in school, go on to further education and eventually higher education.
