Dr Ros
Crawley is a Reader in Cognitive Psychology. She obtained her BSc
(Hons) Psychology (1st class) from the University of Durham in 1979,
and a PhD in Psychology, also from the University of Durham, in
1985. She has been a lecturer at the University of Sunderland since 1991.
Previously she was a demonstrator in psychology at the University of
Newcastle upon Tyne and then a lecturer and postdoctoral research assistant at the
University of Durham. |
She is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and a member of
the Cognitive Psychology Section.

Teaching & Administrative Responsibilities
Ros teaches on PSY111 Fundamentals of Psychology I and PSY232 Cognitive
Psychology and supervises undergraduate empirical projects. She also
teaches Applied Cognitive Psychology on the Masters programme and is Research
Student Manager for psychology.
She is a member of the Psychology Research Committee, the University Research Committee
and Academic Board.
Research Interests
Adults’ memory for
childhood; cognition and pregnancy.
