Senior Lecturer in Marketing Strategy and Innovation
I am the Programme Leader for the Master of Business in Administration (MBA) and Centre Leader for MDIS in Singapore.
From 2014 to 2016, I was the Knowledge Base Supervisor on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with a legal services organisation, involved in a project to introduce and embed a technical marketing strategy.
I have developed and taught on a range of marketing modules throughout the undergraduate and postgraduate business and marketing programme portfolio. I am the Module Leader for the postgraduate module Marketing Management and also teach Global Integrated Marketing Communications and Marketing Strategy.
I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Teaching and supervision

I am the Module Leader for the postgraduate module Marketing Management and also teach Global Integrated Marketing Communications. I am Module Leader for the undergraduate module Marketing Strategy delivered through the University’s transnational education provision.
I am the Programme Leader for the MBA on campus at Sunderland, this role encompasses international centres delivering the programme.
My research interests in marketing relate to ‘value creation’ in organisations and the ‘customer experience journey’.
My research interests in teaching and learning relate to embedding ‘employability’ in the marketing and business curriculum. I am also involved in an action research project evaluating the integration of ‘critical thinking’ support mechanisms in the postgraduate programme curriculum.
