Senior Lecturer in Strategy

I have over 25 years work experience developed during careers in Retail, Hospitality, IT, Consultancy and Education. Outside the UK, I have worked and delivered projects in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Zimbabwe. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and also a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). I am also the centre leader for Sur University College in Oman, one of our partner universities.

Currently, I am an External Examiner for Coventry University, Sainte Marie, Lyon - MSc International Business Management with Entrepreneurship and the University of Bedfordshire (Global MBA). 


Teaching and supervision

I am currently Programme Leader for MSc International Business Management.

I am module leader for:

  • PGBM135 Global Strategy and Foresight
  • PGBM115 MSc IBM Dissertation
  • SIM337 Contemporary Developments in Business and Management 
    (for students studying at our London campus and those off-campus students who study with our partner universities around the world)


I also teach on:

  • SIM336 Strategic Management
  • PGBM16 Global Corporate Strategy

Research interests for potential research students

My main research interest is to investigate the interplay between strategic foresight and organisational resource weaknesses.

I am currently examining how organisations could use strategic foresight to minimise current and future build-up of resource weaknesses.
