Senior Lecturer in Operations Management

I am a Senior Lecturer in Operations Management in the Faculty of Business, Law and Tourism. Prior to working in higher education, I gained a great deal of Senior Management experience. I have twice had the experience of introducing 'Manufacturing Operations' from greenfield sites, while 'Project Managing' new technology into the UK from Japan.


Teaching and supervision

Since joining Sunderland Business School, I have taught a range of modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. I was also Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Applied Management.

I am currently module leader for:

  • Introduction to Business Operations and Services UGB 165 
  • Quality Management for Organisational Excellence UGB 262

Research

I am currently actively researching 'Exploring the benefits of improving core competencies in SME organisations'.
