Senior Lecturer and Course Leader

My current research interests involve an area of development known as 'serious games'. This involves projects such as gaming for the visually impaired, virtual reality applications, and early years’ educational games. I am also interested in pedagogic research, with an emphasis on the gamification of teaching and learning and in game development on multiple platforms.

I have hosted Game Jams in the past and trained students in competitive game development. See our Global Game Jam 2018 entries
If you are interested in participating at our site for subsequent Global Game Jams, please get in touch with me.
