Senior Lecturer

I hold a BSc in Computing and an MSc in E-Commerce Management. Before joining the University of Sunderland in 1994, I worked in various technical management and project management roles in a college environment.

I have a keen interest in networking and network security and, to keep the balance, I am a member and past president of the Rotary club of Sunderland and a qualified karate instructor.

I'm currently working on hybrid wireless asset tracking systems and network forensics/cybersecurity. I've recently been involved in developing our MSc in Cybersecurity. I'm a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI) for CCNA and CCNP and I'm a certified PRINCE2 practitioner.
