Programme Leader for Photography, Video and Digital Imaging

I am the Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Photography, Video and Digital Imaging, specialising in historic photographic processes, analogue photography and specialist camera design and construction.

Teaching and supervision

I teach across all three levels of BA (Hons) Photography, Video and Digital Imaging.

Research interests for potential research students

My research focuses on the design, development and construction of bespoke cameras to enable the production of highly specific forms of photographic imagery. I am interested in the transformation of the experience of charting and surveying landscape into the photographic.

Utilising analogue photographic processes, these images explore my relationship with the land, translating journey into photographic trace.
