Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

As a former graduate from the University of Sunderland I went onto become a project engineer, specialising in automation and control. As a project engineer I worked all over the work on a variety of projects including projects in the oil and gas, manufacturing and security sectors.

Teaching and supervision

I am module leader for:
  • MAT135 Engineering Mathematics
  • EAT240 Automation for Manufacturing
  • ENGM110 Automation and Mechatronics

I also teach on:
  • ELX218 Electronics
  • EAT237 Microprocessors and PLCS
  • EAT325 Automotive Dynamics and Control

I also supervise undergraduate and postgraduate project students.
My main areas of expertise are in Automation and Mechatronics including Programmable Logic Controllers and Supervisory Data and Control Acquisition systems.
