I teach Creative Writing and Literature on BA (Hons) English and MA English Studies.

I am a published poet, song writer and scholar of Borders Theory. My works include Border Crossings: Narration, Nation and Imagination in Scots and Irish Literature and Culture, (2013), Spectral Visions: The Collection (2014) and Spectral Visions: Grim Fairy Tales, (2015).

My most recent publication, co-authored with Dr Alison O’Malley Younger is ‘Reivers, Raiders and Revenants: The Haunted Landscapes of the Anglo-Scots Borders’ in Haunted Landscapes: Super-Nature and the Environment (2016) edited by Ruth Heholt and Niamh Downing and published by Rowman & Littlefield.
