Academic Tutor

I am a qualified solicitor specialising in family law.

I graduated from Northumbria University in 2006. After this, I worked as a paralegal at Dickinson Dees and then Eversheds. I qualified as a solicitor with Geoffrey Forrester Solicitors in 2009, focusing mainly on criminal and family law, also gaining my Police Station Accreditation.

I spent over 3 years at Ben Hoare Bell as a family solicitor, developing my role by obtaining my Children Panel Accreditation and progressing to supervisor.

In 2014 I moved to my current role at the North East Law Centre. A year later, I also began supervising students at the Sunderland Student Law Clinic. I then became module leader of the family module of the LPC at Sunderland in 2016.
