The care of older people
Dementia and Delirium
Risk assessment

I have been a qualified Mental Health Nurse since 2004, and have worked extensively with older adults who have a variety of complex mental health needs within a range of setting which includes organics and functional inpatient units, community and day hospital services, and liaison psychiatry. Prior to joining the university in 2018 I worked as a dementia Nurse specialist for a local acute hospital.

I am very interested and passionate about caring for older people, in particular caring for older people with dementia and delirium within an acute hospital setting. I have a specialist interest in training and education for acute hospital staff in relation to caring for patients with dementia and delirium.
