Programme Leader for OSPAP

After graduating from the University of Sunderland MPharm Pharmacy in 2003, I completed my pre-registration training at a large chain community pharmacy in the centre of Newcastle in 2004.

After qualifying, I worked as a community pharmacist in the region and in 2007, I joined the University as a Senior Lecturer. I have held several roles at the University including placement co-ordinator and leader on different undergraduate and postgraduate modules.

In 2015, I became Programme Leader for the Overseas Pharmacist Assessment Programme (OSPAP).

Teaching and supervision

I teach pharmacy practice, law and ethics on both MPharm and OSPAP.

Research

My main research areas are pharmacy education and community pharmacy practice.
