Associate Lecturer in Aviation and Hospitality

I tutor aviation and hospitality modules for undergraduate and postgraduate students and supervise major postgraduate projects on aviation management studies. I am a PhD candidate at the University and hold a BA, MBA with distinctions, and professional business background in hospitality management, entertainment, and aviation.

I am well known for my excellent soft skills and productive partnership with management and flexible with sophisticated team-working ethics. I have over a decade of practical experience with multinational organisations such as the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Rotana Hotel Management Corporation, the Royal Jordanian airlines, the Ambassador Theatre Group Limited (ATG), and Entain PLC. I am dedicated to research, leadership and management, employee behaviours, and crisis response in the aviation industry.



Teaching and supervision

I teach modules on aviation safety and security, environment, operations, and hospitality management studies for undergraduate and postgraduate students. I am a supervisor of master's degree major projects in aviation and hospitality studies.

Research

I am in the advanced stage of my PhD research. I'm focusing on achieving a significant historical review of the aviation industry and understanding employees' behaviours during the Covid-19 pandemic based on the management responses to the crisis. I aim to provide recommendations that enhance the communication between management and cabin crew and offer conclusions for continuous improvement and potential research opportunities.
