We are committed to creating a sustainable environment on campus and in the wider area, and there are several ways in which we have already achieved this.
Our mission is to make the University as environmentally sustainable as we possibly can in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our overall aim is to reduce the University of Sunderland’s direct and indirect environmental impacts and contribute to sustainable development for the local community and wider society.
