Hello February! Join us in feeling good this February by staying active and taking part in our 4-week action-packed schedule for FREE!
Feel Good February is a month of health and wellbeing activities across Team Sunderland and is aimed at promoting healthier behaviours that lead to improved student and staff wellbeing.
As well as getting active and trying something new, we believe that these activities will also help those around campus to make healthier choices as well as supporting our ‘Mental Health in Sport’ campaign. Our goal is to engage students and staff in getting active and feeling great!
Each week brings various activities, each one being beneficial to your wellbeing.
A schedule for the next few weeks can be found below. If you are wanting to sign onto an activity please contact me at Brooke.Cochrane@Sunderland.ac.uk
Alongside our Feel Good Programme, we will also be supporting the Row Britannia 2020 campaign which is a UK-wide platform, campaign and event that will bring together universities, colleges, education, sports governing bodies, British sporting icons, and communities.
The Row Britannia Challenge for Sport Relief has the potential to involve every university and college student in the UK. If every university and college enter a team and raises £3000, they could raise a total of £1.5million for Sport Relief!
In addition to raising vital funds, the positive awareness of mental health, fitness, and wellbeing that they would raise within their communities could be extraordinary.
