My favourite thing about the city of Sunderland is its diversity. The city is filled with so many different things, from museums and art galleries to a football stadium and music venues. It's a place filled with variety and passion and ultimately it brings a mix of people together which is wonderful! The University offers you so many opportunities both on your course and outside through extracurricular work. I did one year of a social work degree at the University before transferring course to study BA (Hons) Journalism."
