Topic - Schools and Colleges
This session will discuss mental health and childhood, approaching the subject this topic from a sociological point of view.
We look at studies that link media exposure and mental health issues with children.
Join us as we explore the relationship between children's mental health and how it is linked to the different aspects of media, such as content published by the press, and social media egagement. We also look at the role the NHS play and the origins of the services engaging with this area.
This interactive session can also help you identify possible careers within health, social care and children services.
