This is an opportunity to engage with current local and national developments, share best practice, generate new thinking and new initiatives.
Led by the University steering group on student mental health and wellbeing, this keystone event recognises the priority that we place on the wellbeing of our University community. The conference will explore positive approaches to student mental health and provide an opportunity to engage with current developments, share best practice and generate new thinking.
The varied programme includes contributions from our students, Student's Union and invited external speakers with high profile and reputation in the field of mental health. A draft programme is available here. A full conference programme will be available in due course.
This promises to be a timely and insightful event. Staff are strongly encouraged to attend. Places are likely to be in high demand and early booking is recommended.
Who should attend?
The conference is for University of Sunderland staff and students; academic and support staff from regional HEIs.
