Graduate Launchpad

We're excited to announce the next phase of Graduate Launchpad 2017. If you’re a 2017 University of Sunderland graduate and are looking for support to boost your career then this is definitely for you.

We have a range of options available, some of which have been designed to be flexible so that you can take part around your current commitments.

Option 1: Graduates into Enterprise

We have a number of fantastic short-term internship opportunities with employers throughout the region that will suit graduates from all disciplines to help grow your skills and enhance your CV. You will be paid the national minimum wage and receive a support throughout from Sunderland Futures.

The opportunities available will be for one of the following working patterns:

  • 8 weeks based on full-time hours
  • 3 months based on part-time hours

Option 2: PGCert Leadership and Professional Development

The Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership and Professional Development is a flexible, part-time course available to recent University of Sunderland graduates. It is specifically designed around enhancing your employability, focusing on your professional and graduate identity to understand your personal impact in a career context. Employability is intrinsic and explicit to both the course content and assessment.

The course will be delivered primarily online, and for recent University of Sunderland graduates, the cost is only £200. Option 3: Support from Sunderland Futures

If you’re not sure if internships or further study are right for you, or have some career ideas and need to identify your next steps, the Sunderland Futures team are here to support you. Simply fill in the form to register for the graduate Launchpad programme and we’ll be in touch to discuss your needs. It’s as simple as that!
